Re: Herbs safe for breastfeeding
In Susun's book "Herbal for the Childbearing Year" pages 84-86 she lists several herbs that are considered safe.
Raspberry leaf, Nettle, Alfalfa, Red Clover.

Re: Osteoporosis- vegan diet and a three step plan
Interesting.
I wonder if the woman followed Susun's advice.
I personally find a vegan diet to be too restrictive, too lacking in what I would think as good, healthful nutrients.
I also think/feel that some animal fats are needed, even if its just butter.

Re: Do you use mushrooms?
I would love to take an ID class, even with a good book and the internet I don't trust my ID abilities. (we have several different mushrooms on the farm)
I have used Reishi mushrooms medicinally (purchased from Mt. Rose)

How about making Lemon Balm jelly. You could also freeze some fresh herb for winter use.
It amazes me how far Lemon Balm can travel, we've found small stands of it in the woods far from my herb garden...lol

Food as Medicine In the Battle
Three days after my 51st birthday I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, that night I'd been given a 10% chance of survival. Two years later and I'm still alive! I owe much to my mentors, Susun Weed, Michael Moore and Michael Tierra. I had quite a stack of books by my hospital bed, I had to kn...

I've found that with meno I've had to make changes to my diet (induced menopause), I can't eat what I used to, even good healthful foods.
