I found some growing last year and harvested some seeds and just tossed them around. I have a few plants this year. enough to make a bit of tincture for myself.

Whitehorse, I found your suggestion fascinating, so I dissolved some Epsom salts in water and then whisked it with my arnica-St. John's wort ointment. I still use olive oil 99% of the time. I always have - just like it and am the most comfortable with olive oil. That being said, I will use coconut oil in some instances. Hi, I am not sure how active this site is anymore, but I am wondering if anyone has any Elecampane honey( made from fresh root). that they want to sell to me! Thanks! I have been infusing honeys this year. Elecampane root honey sounds very interesting. I have some growing and may try it in the fall.

I was just at a class with Susun and she spoke about oak bark as a sitz bath. I don't recall if hemmorroids were discussed but it is an excellent astringent and may be helpful

I do still use them occasionally but with the awareness that they are more drug like in their action rather than nourishing, having been broken down to only one element.
