Re: Question about astragalus
ItalianBee, we think alike in not wanting to waste any part of a plant.
I looked up Astragalus+Traditional Chinese Medicine and this came up http://www.chineseherbshealing.com/milk-vetch-seed/
I'll be jotting this information down in my Chinese Materia Medica...whoops already there

Re: FOOD AS MEDICINE and/or DINNER
ItalianBee....one could replace the soysauce with coconut amino acids or even just a liitle salt. I think the recipe does need the 'salty' flavor, maybe float a small piece of seaweed. WhiteHorse...yum! And yum again using infused vinegar! Yesterday at my clients house I oven roasted 3 organic beets...

Re: TURMERIC REMEDY FOR MULTIPLE SYMPTOMS
WhiteHorse...yup, turmeric is a tough one. The Golden Milk craze didn't take with me or my digestion...makes me burp A LOT! (I do want to dye wool with turmeric, I so love the color!) Vampirella...I'll start a new Thread for Recipes, that way they don't get lost (Talking Stick looks like a nice room...

Re: TURMERIC REMEDY FOR MULTIPLE SYMPTOMS
WhiteHorse...maybe you already tend to run hot?
With Cronehood I find I crave hot and spicey a lot less, too heating, and drying for my Vata/Pitta constitution. (My curry has been toned down in Heat, which I think allows the other ingredients to shine).

Do you notice more pain after certain meals? Are the feet painful to touch? Are you looking to increase y...
