Rufus's broken leg

I am an equine podiatrist. Equine podiatry is science based holistic hoof care for the domestic horse. I live in a rural area and large animal vets are few and far between. Because of my knowledge and experience with horses, my clients and neighbors often call me to help. On Monday my neighbor, Sama...

Re: Tibicos Mushroom and Keifer water

I've not seen anything like that about hawthorn either. My understanding of it is that it is an adaptogen and is safe for even long term use. I'd also like to see the info about organ replacements.

Re: Tibicos Mushroom and Keifer water

Hello Whitehorse and Lady: Above is a site which lists benefits of the mushroom. I was interested in it for blood pressure regulation mostly; also it is a probiotic. What I read about Kefir water was that is was an excellent probiotic; and excellent for digestive health. I admire that you can both ...

Re: Tibicos Mushroom and Keifer water

Kefir uses the sugars in the milk. And I do like and make Kombucha as well. There is something about the sparkle and twang. I am just starting my first attempts of double brewing. I'm adding some home processed fruit juice. The first batch was pretty good but very strong! I diluted it half with wate...

Re: plant sharing

Ahh. Ramps! I have been planting the whole plant rather than seeds. I buy a pound and plant half. They used to be (poor man's food) but are now a delicacy and the price has skyrocketed around here. they are one of my favorites! The chick weed is coming up here and the nettles are just starting to pe...

Re: adaptogens

For some reason My computer won't let me connect to that link. I'll try again another time. I am aware of both Ashwaganda and Gogi being night shades. I used to eat a lot of potatoes and tomatoes but hardly do at all anymore. I believe I did develop some sensitivity, but I want to try these and see ...

Re: adaptogens

We get a few small chantrells, cute little things. We hike in the Cascades alot and I gotta admit we are lucky to walk a mile an hour because of wanting to meet all of the plants and mushrooms. We've had a lot of wildfires the last few years so the morels are supposed to be plentiful. Last year we ...
