Re: what to do with marshmallow root powder?

I just googled 'can you make marshmallows from marshmallow root' https://www.google.com/search?q=can+you ... 8&oe=utf-8

and there's bunches of recipes and herbal instructions to be found. Happy hunting!

Re: alternative to cold infusions in winter

I don't like them warmed up either. Neat little trick I learned along the way - add a few cinnamon sticks (i prefer sweet but mixed both in this batch) with some brandy and let sit for a couple weeks. A few drops under the toungue (or just in your mouth cuz it's super yummy) warms you up from the in...

Re: alternative to cold infusions in winter

Smaller glasses more often (like grazing instead of drinking a big glass)

I usually go through a lot of Chia in the winter and warmer drinks.

Re: what to do with marshmallow root powder?

I have no idea but a pound is an awful lot to waste. I've gotten samples from Mountain Rose Herbs, Jean's Greens and Pacific Herbals (I think that's what it's called). Some were great, some weren't. I've found that most stores are quite happy to send you a sample once they realize that you buy in bu...

Re: Prostate trouble

I added a tablespoon of horsetail to my exhubands oatstraw infusion for prostate health but he didn't actually have any medical issues with it yet. I would clear that with your doc or herbalist first. I think it's wise to have a consult with a well respected and established herbalist when working to...

Re: WHAT TO USE FOR CLEANING

I made a gallon of the recipe from Herb Mentor (vinegar, tyme and I can't remember what else). It came out bright red. It works wonders but wipe it right up because it will stain your counters and grout red if you're not careful.

Re: Ugh. Yeast Infection?

Because a vaginal infection that bounces back and forth between yeast and BV burns more than the boric acid. It doesn't fight against either but brings the ph in the vaginal canal back to normal where neither the yeast or the BV can grow. It had gotten to the point with my exhusband that I HAD to in...

Re: Ugh. Yeast Infection?

I know it's embarassing. We live in a world where most of the meat is treated with anti-biotics. It's not surprising that it affects us. Find a nice, comfortably sized spoon for cleaning it out. Yes, it's gross BUT it works wonders, provides immediate relief and can speed up getting rid of the infec...

Re: Ugh. Yeast Infection?

Before the site crashed - we had a bunch. You could try inserting plain live culture yogurt to rebalance the system. It's much easier to keep up on maintenance than to get the main infection under control. I almost always suggest getting up in there and cleaning the infection out manually. It allows...
