Actually it's only my left thumb that has developed deep cracks over the past couple of weeks. I haven't changed my diet or my activities, so I don't know what's causing it outside of my age and the cold New England winter air... but regular hand lotion doesn't touch it, and even my nice home-made ...

ItalianBee....one could replace the soysauce with coconut amino acids or even just a liitle salt. I think the recipe does need the 'salty' flavor, maybe float a small piece of seaweed. unfortunatley, Rufus had to be euthanized. Although some healing had occured, the extent of his injuries were too severe.
