Infusions in boiling water are a good way of getting the healthy things out of herbs, as well as killing any bugs that may hide on the plants.

Re: Meadowsweet NHI?

I have used dried meadowsweet leaves infusion regularly the last year. It is a good anti-inflammatory, astringent herb that can do miracles with an too active stomach. The taste is rather acrid, but good with honey added (if you do not mind eating fast sugars).

Re: Any herbal treatment to get rid of acne scars?

Scars are difficult to get rid off.

Nettle infusion is great for the skin.
Vitamine E and other carotenes from boiled carrots or tomato are good too IF consumed on daily basis.

You may clean the skin with a tincture made of Balsamina impatiens.

The instruction on infused oil in the link work very well with other herbs too, like yarrow or hops flowers, that are good for healing skin.

Echinacea and chaga tea are great in stimulating the immune system. I prefere chaga.

When I started eating omega-3 rich herring 2-3 times per week I reduced my colds.
